Finding your size is a balance between geometry and personal comfort. Because our pieces feature substantial, hand-carved silhouettes and heavy band profiles, taking time to establish your baseline measurement ensures your piece wears effortlessly for a lifetime.

Core Sizing Principles

  • Personal Preference: Sizing is inherently individual. Your ring should feel secure—anchored enough that it won't slide off, yet relaxed enough to glide over your knuckle without forcing it.

  • Finger Specificity: Always measure the exact finger you intend to wear the piece on. Your dominant hand is naturally slightly larger than your non-dominant hand.

  • Thermal Conditions: Take measurements at a neutral, comfortable body temperature. Extreme heat, cold, or physical activity temporarily alters your finger size.

  • Establish a Baseline: Measure your finger at least 3 to 4 times across different days and times of day to find your consistent average size.

  • Profile & Surface Area: Band width directly impacts fit. Wider profiles and heavy signet bands cover more surface area on the finger, creating a snugger fit. For wide-band pieces, we generally recommend selecting 1/2 to 1 full size larger than your standard measurement.
